In 2003, concurrent to establishment of HPCRC, comprehensive studies about cluster systems were started. The aim of these studies was reviewing different aspects of cluster systems to modify our first generation PC-Cluster and plan the second generation. Our activities through that year can be briefly listed as follows:
Gathering information, study and research about all software and hardware necessities of Super Cluster systems
Software modification of our first generation PC-Cluster
Research on different applications and usages suitable for PC-Cluster systems
